How our four week Welcome Month will unfold

Your child's first four weeks with us.

Our Welcome Month gives your child four weeks to settle in at Brighton-Le-Sands. Half days first, full days when they're ready.
Day 1
Parent & child orientation
The family fills in an enrolment form for compliance purposes.
Weeks 1 and 2
Half-day sessions
Shorter sessions so your child can settle gently. A phone call from our educators after every session, plus a written update and photos where we can.
Weeks 3 and 4
Full-day sessions
Children attend full days as they get comfortable in the daily rhythm. The phone calls continue after every session, with updates when possible.
End of Week 4
Warm conversation
Kylie sits with you to talk about how your child has settled and the enrolment schedule that will work best from here.
By Week 4, you'll know if Brighton-Le-Sands is the right fit. Enrolment is just confirming it.

Hi, I'm Kylie.

I'm the centre director here at Giggle & Learn Brighton-Le-Sands. I have over twenty years of experience in early childhood and my aim is to create a learning environment where every child feels accepted, known and nurtured.

If you book the Welcome Month, I can guarantee your child will spend the first four weeks in a nurturing space with a consistent team of qualified educators; not a rotating roster of agency staff. We will personally update you after every session, and make time for real conversations about how your child is settling and growing.

Parents Ask Us

We welcome children from 8 weeks to 6 years of age. Our Brighton-Le-Sands centre features dedicated learning environments for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, each designed to support the unique developmental needs of every age group.

Our Brighton-Le-Sands centre is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We offer full-day care, a structured learning program and flexibility for busy working families.

Yes. Our Brighton-Le-Sands team includes bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers, diploma trained educators and experienced assistants who are passionate about intentional teaching. All educators hold a Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Chid Protection and Child Safety certificates.

Safety is our first priority. Our Brighton-Le-Sands centre includes:

  • Security tag only access
  • Supervision ratios that meet or exceed regulations
  • Purpose-built, open plan learning environments for our 0-2 year old babies, 2-3 year old toddlers and 3-5 year old preschoolers, designed for safe exploration
  • Strict hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Regular child safety training for all staff

Your daily fee at Brighton-Le-Sands includes:

  • Fresh, nutritious meals prepared by our on-site chef including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon tea.
  • Huggies nappies, fragrance-free wipes and formula.
  • SPF 50+ sunscreen and a sun-safe hat.
  • Access to our Ready, Set, School program.
  • Real time updates and photos via the OWNA app.
  • All learning materials and high-quality resources.
  • Access to our Early Learning Language Program
  • During your Welcome Month, your child comes in two days a week for four weeks. That's eight sessions. You choose the days, subject to availability. Fees begin once enrolment is confirmed.

Our Ready, Set, School program helps children build confidence in literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills. We work closely with families and local schools, including Brighton-Le-Sands Public School, located on the same street, to support a smooth transition to big school.

We keep families connected through the OWNA app, where you’ll receive daily photos, updates, learning stories and important notices. Our educators also take time during drop-off, pick-up and scheduled meetings to share insights about your child’s progress.

A "free trial" is a marketing offer. The Welcome Month is the way we transition every new child at Brighton-Le-Sands. It's part of how we provide quality care, not a promotion. Your child is enrolled with us from Day 1 for ratios and insurance, but fees only begin once enrolment is confirmed at the end of the four weeks. There's no trial-period contract to opt out of, no fine print, no money-back claim. Just four weeks for you and your child to experience our difference.

Yes, as part of your fee’s we include your child’s participation in our Forever Fit Kids multi-sport and fitness program which focuses on developing your child’s fundamental principles, such as educating and implementing healthy habits including physical, cognitive, psychological and social development.

Since 5 January 2026, all families eligible for the Child Care Subsidy are guaranteed at least 72 hours of subsidised care per fortnight, which is three days per week, regardless of activity levels.

Families who meet the activity requirements or hold a valid exemption can still access up to 100 hours per fortnight.

The subsidy reduces your fees rather than removing them, so a gap fee still applies.

Yes we have onsite parking for you to safely get your child in and out of the car with ease.
